About Emily Ellis

Inspired by mythological narratives, Emily Ellis is a multidisciplinary artist that explores identity. Her most recent works take a sculptural approach to the topic, exploring the relationship between clothing and plaster.​

Her current research expands her knowledge of what identity is and how it can be reflected through these fabricated narratives. The sculpture establishes a basis to these narratives, exploring a origin to the story and reflecting this against her own ideas of identity and mythology.
